Key Lime Pie

Holy Thunder! It's a super stormy day in Fredericksburg but I have sunshine on my brain as we are heading to the Keys in just a few days. So logically, I've searched the internet for the best Key Lime Pie in Key West. Many claim the title, I'll soon be the judge of that competition!

In the meantime, we have our favorite family recipe that my mom & I have been making for as long as I can remember. It's super simple, and perfect for a hot day, or in my case, a rainy day! Enjoy.

Mom's Key Lime Pie

9" Graham Cracker Pie Crust
14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks (no whites)
1/2 c. Nellie & Joe's Key West Lime Juice

Combine milk, yolks, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Pour filling into pie crust and bake for 15 minutes at 350. Allow pie to cool for about 20 minutes before placing in the refrigerator. Chill until set and ice cold. Just before serving top with fresh whipped cream and lime slices.
