Salted Pretzel Bark

This is one of those recipes that you can literally whip together in 5 minutes yet it looks like you worked really hard in the kitchen. Only four ingredients, and the result is reminiscent of a Take 5 Bar, which I discovered this Halloween season and subsequently ripped through both kid's treat bags and removed them all for myself.

The key to this recipe is Sea Salt, I prefer the French variety, you can purchase on Amazon.com through their Prime program for under $10.00. It'll last you forever, and I sprinkle it on all my cookies and brownies. http://amzn.to/2mfMUTh

Enjoy.

1 12 oz. bag milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips, good quality
1 11 oz. bag Kraft Caramel Bits
8 oz. Pretzels, mini twists
Sea Salt

Cover 13 x 9 baking pan in parchment paper. Melt 10 ounces chocolate chips and spread into even layer onto the parchment paper.

Cover with pretzels, it's okay to overlap. Press lightly.

Melt Caramel Bits according to package directions using 2 TBS. water. Drizzle as much caramel as you like over the pretzels.

Melt the additional 2 ounces of chocolate and drizzle over the caramel.

Sprinkle with sea salt. Refrigerate for a few hours or until set. Cut into pieces. (I don't break this up, because the caramel is still soft and will pull.) Store in the fridge.
